Science Festival: an event for the whole family
In 1 click, help us spread this information :

Are you looking for a weekend full of discoveries, curiosity and engagement? Join us on 22 and 23 November 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the 15th edition of the Science Festival in Luxembourg-Grund, at the National Museum of Natural History and Neumünster Abbey. Admission is free for the general public.
Why come?
Because this event is more than just a trade fair: it is a celebration of science and technology with over 60 interactive workshops and shows for all ages and anyone with a curious mind.
Health, humanitarian aid and solidarity also have their place here: Médecins Sans Frontières Luxembourg (MSF) is presenting one of its educational tools, the ‘Stop Ebola’ Escape Room.
This is an opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience: in teams of 2 to 6 people, you play the role of an MSF medical team in the midst of the Ebola crisis. You must equip yourselves, protect yourselves and take action – all in a playful atmosphere, while discovering the real challenges of an epidemic.
Beyond the game, it is an educational adventure: you will gain a better understanding of what the Ebola virus is, how teams in the field prepare themselves, the importance of protective equipment and, more broadly, the role of science in humanitarian action.

Thanks to the tools presented at the Festival, you will:
- Understand how an MSF team responds to an Ebola epidemic, a highly contagious virus and a major health crisis.
- Experience, in a fun way, the challenges of personal protective equipment, limited time and pressure on healthcare workers.
- Develop your critical thinking and solidarity: how science, logistics and coordination operate in the humanitarian field, and why this concerns us all.
- Discover careers related to research, humanitarian medicine and technology applied to health.
Who is it for?
- For curious families looking for enriching and interactive activities;
- For teenagers and young adults interested in science, health or humanitarian crises;
- For teachers wishing to enjoy an educational experience that they can replicate in their school;
- For anyone passionate about science and solidarity.
