MSF in your will

What could be more precious than to pass on the strength and experience acquired in the course of one's own life? What could be more remarkable when this will is embodied for the benefit of those who need it most and who are suffering?

By bequeathing your patrimony, or part of it, to Médecins Sans Frontières, you are making a lasting contribution to the cause, and giving thousands of people a glimpse of a better future.

What is a legacy?

A legacy is a provision that allows you to formally designate one or more beneficiaries who will receive all or part of your estate on your death. It is thus possible to pass on one or more assets, whether furniture or real estate, to Médecins Sans Frontières to support our humanitarian mission. It's a way for you to make a concrete gesture that lasts, to pass on a future to the most vulnerable.

Your legacy has the power to
save lives

For MSF, the generosity of our donors is essential, accounting for 99% of our resources. Since 1971, our teams have been doing their best to provide the most vulnerable with the care they need.

Why bequeath to MSF?

Your legacy is a guarantee of our independence and impartiality. These key values of our Charter are reflected in everything we do. Your money goes directly to help those most in need. Our financial management is strict, and both our national and international consolidated accounts are audited and certified by independent auditors.

Did you know that one in five projects would not be possible without legacies?

What can I transfer to MSF?

Including MSF in your will is an invaluable gesture in support of our activities. It is also, for you, the assurance of bequeathing a real force for action in the service of those in need, a way of keeping your values alive beyond your own history.

MSF is committed to
respect your wishes

Because there's no greater symbol than being entrusted with an inheritance, we want to give it the importance it deserves. Without a will and without an heir, your estate reverts to the state. A bequest to MSF ensures that your inheritance is mobilized in the service of a cause that saves lives around the world.
