Our educational programmes
Our interventions in schools (primary schools, secondary schools, universities) aim to make each student an active participant in their reflection on humanitarian action. To this end, we offer various tools and intervention models: presentations and testimonials, interactive workshops: board games, escape rooms, educational projects, charity days, etc.
In 2024, we conducted seven interventions in schools.
At the end of June 2025, we had recorded the following figures for the year:
interventions in
different institutions in Luxembourg
students reached,
aged 4 to 25.
We also regularly organise mapathons, collective mapping workshops, which aim to provide data to our teams working in crisis areas where accurate and up-to-date maps are often unavailable. These workshops do not require any prior skills, are open to everyone and give young people an opportunity to contribute directly to humanitarian actions, with a direct and very short-term impact. Get involved with your class!
Offer your students a hands-on immersion in global humanitarian issues!
Médecins Sans Frontières' interventions in Luxembourg schools fit perfectly with the objectives of citizenship, geography, history, social sciences and language education programmes.
Through interactive activities, first-hand accounts and tailored teaching tools, your students will develop their critical thinking skills, their understanding of the globalised world and their ability to act in a supportive and responsible manner.
Bring humanitarian issues into the classroom: a unique opportunity to educate engaged and informed citizens!
