Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international humanitarian medical organization that provides emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, lack of access to healthcare, and natural disasters. MSF provides assistance based on people’s needs, without distinction based on race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
MSF’s independence depends on public generosity: 98% of donations came from private sources by 2025. In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, more than 23,000 donors support us, 42% of whom make regular donations.
YOUR MISSION
Within the Communication and Fundraising Department, the Communication and Fundraising Officer, under the supervision of the Editorial Project Coordinator, you help implement MSF Luxembourg's communications and fundraising strategy.
- You help to strengthen MSF's image and raise awareness of its mission and activities.
- You use various media to inform and educate different audiences in Luxembourg.
- You operate under the supervision of the Editorial Project Coordinator and work closely with other members of the Communication and Fundraising team, members of LuxOR, colleagues from other departments
- You assist the communication and fundraising director in all tasks as required
YOUR PURPOSE

You hold a bachelor or Master degree in Communication, political science, international relations or similar
You have experience with MSF or another humanitarian organization
You have strong writing and speaking skills in the media
are positive, dynamic, and proactive
Your communication skills in French and English (oral and written) are excellent
You have a good knowledge of Luxembourg’s socio-economic environment
You are proficient in MS Office and are accustomed to working with desktop publishing softwares
You like to work collaboratively and transparently with other team members, the MSFL Luxembourg office and the international network
You are organized
With an unwavering sense of ethics, you share MSF’s values and mission
Conditions :
Full-time (40 hours/week) 6 months contract under Luxembourg law
Position based in Luxembourg with the option to work remotely

• Gross Salary starting at €3,805 with additional compensation based on experience in accordance with MSF’s salary policy
