Context
Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent international medical humanitarian organization. Its mission is to provide specialized medical care to vulnerable populations in crisis situations (armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare), based solely on need, without discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, beliefs, or political affiliation.
MSF is an international movement currently composed of 25 national or regional associations. MSF Luxembourg is one of these 25 associations. It includes an executive office responsible for communication, fundraising, advocacy, recruitment, and operational research projects directly linked to health programs, with the aim of improving their effectiveness and efficiency.
Your mission
You will support the communication activities of the LuxOR Unit at MSF Luxembourg through essential and varied tasks.
Through your volunteering, you will contribute to:
- Strengthening MSF’s visibility and public image, and raising awareness of our work among a wide audience through various formal, internal and external communication channels, as well as social media platforms.
- Promoting our social mission, our values, and our projects.
- Raising awareness about operational research within and outside of MSF.
Your main tasks
- Assist and support the development of the vision for the revamp of the LuxOR website and of the operational research presence on both our public site (luxor.msf.lu) and MSF’s internal intranet (not yet online).
- Participate in the publication of posts on social media.
- Upload articles to our website (luxor.msf.lu).
- Support the creation of informational content on the research projects led by LuxOR.
- Translate documents into French.
- Actively participate in LuxOR unit meetings and other communication-related meetings.
- Help create promotional materials targeting different audiences: brochures, presentation documents for both internal and external communication.
- Support the organization of LuxOR events, both online (e.g. webinars) and in-person.

- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
