Context

Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent international humanitarian medical aid organization whose mission is to provide specialized medical care to vulnerable populations in crisis situations (armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care), on the basis of need alone, without distinction of ethnic origin, gender, belief or political affiliation.

MSF is an international movement that currently has 25 national or regional associations. MSF Luxembourg is one of the 25 associations that make up this movement: it includes an executive office, which ensures communication, fundraising, advocacy, recruitment, and carries out operational research projects directly linked to health programs, in order to contribute to improving their effectiveness and efficiency.

Your mission

  • You provide support to the communication actions of the LuxOR unit, within MSF Luxembourg, through essential and varied tasks.

  • Through your volunteering, you contribute:

    • To strengthen MSF’s awareness and image, and to make the work we do known to a wide audience using different formal, internal and external communication channels, as well as social media platforms.

    • To make known our social mission, our values ​​and our projects.

    • To promote operational research within MSF and outside

 

Your main activities

  • Assistance and support in developing the vision for the redesign of the LuxOR website and operational research on our site luxor.msf.lu and on the MSF intranet (not yet online)
  • Participation in the publication of posts on social networks;
  • Posting of articles on our site luxor.msf.lu;
  • Participation in the creation of informational content on research projects carried out within LuxOR;
  • Translation of documents into French;
  • Active participation in various meetings of the LuxOR unit or related to communication;
  • Assistance in the creation of promotional material for different audiences: brochures, presentation documents for both internal and external communication.
  • Participation in the organization of LuxOR events online (e.g. webinars) or in person.
