This year again Médecins Sans Frontières would like to express its gratitude to the Fondation Liberté, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg, who has decided to continue its generous support to our project in favour of the refugees populations of Shatila and Burj Al Barajneh Camps, South Beirut, Lebanon.
These populations live below the poverty line, with poor access to sanitation, no drinking water, and an inadequate access to healthcare. Médecins Sans Frontières provides always free-of-charge quality care such as mother and child care, including deliveries, vaccinations, or health promotion. We follow up those patients, children and adults, who suffer from non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, and are unable to afford the costs of their treatments. We also provide consultations in mental health to both children and adults.
