What is Time Rush!?

Understand, collaborate, act.
At the heart of humanitarian work, everything is done as a team.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has created Time Rush!, a collaborative board game that allows players to discover the reality of humanitarian missions while developing team spirit and cooperation.
Aimed at young people aged 11 and over, this game offers a fun and immersive experience in which participants take on the roles of MSF team members who have to make strategic decisions in an emergency situation.
During a game session, lasting between 50 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes, players experience the logistical and human challenges faced by teams in the field, while exploring the solidarity aspect of humanitarian work.
Number of players: 5 to 25.
How does it work?

This collaborative game puts participants in the shoes of MSF teams responsible for organising humanitarian missions. Working in groups, they must:
- Collaborate between headquarters and operations teams to carry out activities and thus successfully complete humanitarian projects that respond to humanitarian crises arising around the world;
- Plan and coordinate the supply of resources (pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, logistics, therapeutic food, human resources) and choose the most appropriate mode of transport (air, sea, land);
- Respond to unforeseen events: delays, bad weather, local difficulties;
- Leverage support: positive impact of a press conference, donations following communication about projects;
- Optimise decisions to help populations as quickly as possible.
The game promotes communication, cooperation and collective decision-making. It informs participants about concrete projects while illustrating the complexity of a real humanitarian intervention.
Integrate humanitarian action into young people's education: a unique opportunity to raise awareness through the direct participation of future committed and informed citizens!
