Interview: Konstantinos Psykakos, Emergency Coordinator in Sudan

After the start of the conflict between the two sides, a lot of NGOs have left the area and humanitarian assistance has been disrupted severely. MSF had to adjust its own operations on the ground. First in order to ensure the safety of our operations and of our staff. That being said, there is no intention of us leaving Sudan and stopping our activities. It is urgent for us to enter and restart those activities and even scale up in order to address a situation where the people will not have access to care. Interview with Dr. Bakri AbuBakr, MSF's Operations manager in Sudan, South Sudan and Somalia.

Médecins Sans Frontières also requests that we be allowed to continue providing humanitarian service without hindrance. And safety is a fundamental requirement for aid workers to be able to continue their efforts. To this day, we continue to work in all states; however, we are confronted with significant challenges and issues.
