Why collect for MSF?

  • We are independent of any influence.  Almost 99% of our resources come from private donors like you. It is through your support and commitment that we are able to act independently and intervene wherever the situation demands, without discrimination.
  • We are transparent: 82% of our expenditure is spent in the field. Our accounts and balance sheet are audited annually by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), approved by the Médecins Sans Frontières General Meeting and filed with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés.

We'll work with you: we'll be happy to discuss with you the most suitable material for your event, and we'll promote it according to your wishes (posters, t-shirts, brochures, stickers, presentation videos, photos, logos, powerpoint presentation of our NGO...).

How to create a donation drive
for MSF?

It takes just a few clicks to create your personal collection page!
Follow the tips below to choose your platform:

Create a donation drive on Alvarum

Create your fundraising page on the secure online crowdfunding platform alvarum.com.

  1. Go to the alvarum website.
  2. Click on "Start my collection".
  3. Choose an occasion: birthday, wedding, birth, funeral, or other. Or choose "Participate in an event" if you want to create a collection for an existing event on Alvarum (for example: ING Marathon).
  4. Then log in to your Alvarum account, or create a new account if you don't have one (it's quick and easy).
  5. Enter your contact details and click on "Create my page".
  6. You can then import a photo, enter a description for your collection or make an initial donation. Note: we strongly advise you to make a first donation before sharing your collection, to encourage your friends and family to collect for you.
  7. Now all that's left to do is spread the word about your fund-raising campaign: share the information on your social networks or e-mail the link to your friends and family by clicking on the icons in the "Share" box. And don't forget: our digital team can also promote it!

They have created collections for their events:

Over the festive season, we all got together and Tessy told us about the Appalachian Trail she was going to take part in. I thought it was a real challenge! So I thought I'd start a fund-raising campaign for MSF to encourage her along the way. It's an extra incentive to finish the trail!

Tessy & Gilles have created a fundraising campaign for the Appalachian Trail, a 3 500 km trail that crosses 14 US states!

When you think of the people who have given their support through donations, it gives you the strength to carry on. Over the last three years, I've managed to raise almost 5,000 euros for 63 kilometers run. And it's all thanks to friends and my sneakers. The secret is to have a network of friends who enjoy seeing me suffer! No, seriously, there's no secret other than knowing generous people. What's more, there's nothing easier than starting a campaign to raise funds for MSF.

David has taken part in the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg on several occasions.

Being useful to others is undoubtedly my greatest reward!

André is committed to our cause, donating his refereeing fees to our association: in 25 years, he has refereed almost 3 500 matches André has refereed on our behalf!
