EVENT Pride Esch Juillet 2025

Events in Luxembourg: our participation

Every year, Médecins Sans Frontières participates in several events in Luxembourg to raise public awareness of humanitarian issues and share its experiences in the field. These events are opportunities to talk with our teams and learn about our mission through our educational tools.

Festival of Migration

The Festival of Migration, Cultures & Citizenship (commonly known as the Festival of Migration) is a major event in Luxembourg, bringing together numerous cultural communities, associations, NGOs, institutions and citizens every year around the themes of diversity and solidarity.

Festival des Migrations 2025

On this occasion, Médecins Sans Frontières has been setting up a stand for several years and working to inform the public about the realities of migration. We present testimonies from the different countries in which we operate and highlight our humanitarian actions in crisis situations.

To this end, we organise photo exhibitions, interactive activities and conferences, creating a space for dialogue with visitors who can immerse themselves in the daily lives of our teams.

Game On

2024 Game On - Missing Maps

Game On is a national event dedicated to games in all their forms: board games, video games, tournaments, workshops, etc.

MSF has been participating in this event since 2023 to showcase several of its educational tools.

Designed in an interactive and fun format, our games educate Game On visitors about humanitarian issues such as epidemics, population displacement, access to healthcare and the impact of cartography.

This event allows MSF to meet a young and family-oriented audience, explore new methods of raising awareness and highlight the link between gaming and civic engagement.

Solidarity Day (Journée de la solidarité)

The Journée de la Solidarité, organised by the Bright Foundation, highlights initiatives carried out by associations, educational institutions, young people and citizens across Luxembourg. A tandem race is also organised to raise funds for several associations present.

MSF participated in the first edition of this initiative on 21 June 2025. We were present with our ‘Stop Ebola’ Escape Room, as well as an information stand. This day was also an opportunity for us to alert visitors to the situation in Sudan, where most of the population suffers from limited access to drinking water.

Science Festival

The Science Festival, organised by the National Museum of Natural History and the National Research Fund (FNR), welcomes more than 12,000 visitors each year, with over 50 interactive science workshops, demonstrations and shows for young and old alike.

MSF will take part in this event in 2025 to raise public awareness of the importance of science in the field of health and humanitarian action. We will be there with our ‘Stop Ebola’ Escape Room and other fun activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge, promote scientific and humanitarian careers, and inspire the younger generation to get involved.

Join us on 22 and 23 November 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (general public) and on 24 and 25 November from 9.15 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. (schools).

  • Take part in our "Stop Ebola" Escape Room and in our other activities.

Nuit de la Culture

The Nuit de la Culture, organised by the non-profit organisation Escher Kulturnuecht, this annual event transforms the city of Esch-sur-Alzette into a vast space for artistic and civic exploration. Shows, concerts, installations and performances punctuate this unique evening, conceived from scratch by multiple local associations.

MSF is contributing to the 2025 edition by offering an immersive installation that tells the story of migration in a different way: how does love survive the chaos and vertigo of the crossing? What is the real definition of a ‘valuable object’ for people who leave everything behind? MSF, in collaboration with Kamellbuttek and Mo Salazar, will present "What would you carry with you? ‘ / ’Et vous, qu'emporteriez-vous ?" and invites visitors to imagine themselves in the shoes of people who have been rescued in the Mediterranean Sea by MSF: sound immersion, testimonials and photos.

Join us on 20 September 2025 from 5 p.m. in Esch-sur-Alzette, near Parc Clair-Chêne.
