Because cinema allows us to cross distances and bring to light realities that are often out of frame:

MSF invites you to immerse yourself in the daily lives of those who provide care and resist elsewhere. From the reality of a medical team in a bunker hospital in Ukraine to the impact of forced displacement at a health center in the Central African Republic, these films, directed by Julien Dewarichet, Multimedia Producer & Video Advisor at Médecins Sans Frontières, bring us as close as possible to MSF teams and their patients.

The screening of these two documentaries will provide an opportunity to hear from Julien Dewarichet, the films' director, Paul Yon, Director General of MSF Luxembourg and former MSF Head of Mission for nearly twenty years, as well as Esther Leick, Director of Communication & Fundraising at MSF Luxembourg, and Dr. Engy Ali, President of MSF Luxembourg.

This evening will highlight the challenges faced by our teams and the vital need to continue bearing witness, providing care, and mobilizing in the face of humanitarian needs that remain immense.

Excerpts

Does anybody care ?

Much of the world is unaware of the Central African Republic. Médecins Sans Frontières has been working there for 25 years, witnessing a dramatic lack of healthcare. Who cares? In Mbomou, they support hospitals, but so much remains to be done.

Help from the Front Line

An MSF medical team works in two-week rotations at a hospital in Kherson, near the front lines. Trapped by the dangerous situation, they face explosions, power cuts and tunnels, while treating homeless residents.
