About MSF - 40 Years
About Médecins Sans Frontières
Who we are and what we do.
Let us get together to celebrate 40 years of action in Luxembourg.
About Médecins Sans Frontières
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organisation which helps victims of conflicts, epidemics and natural disasters, and people who otherwise have no access to care, in more than 70 countries around the world.
In 2026, MSF Luxembourg is celebrating 40 years of commitment to helping people. Four decades of action, raising awareness and displaying solidarity, all of it made possible by the support lent to the organisation by the general public in Luxembourg.
To mark this anniversary, MSF Luxembourg is organising a series of events throughout the year – forums, lectures, workshops and social gatherings – in order to reveal the realities of life in the field and what is involved in humanitarian work nowadays.
The climax of the anniversary year will come in March with La Grande Expo, an immersive exhibition lasting two weeks at Neimënster. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit tents whose contents have been inspired by our projects abroad and, in a unique manner, to immerse themselves in the nitty-gritty of humanitarian work.
