La Grande Expo - Vernissage of the exhibition
Médecins Sans Frontières invites you to the vernissage of la Grande Expo, an immersive experience which will take the public to the heart of humanitarian crises around the world at Neimënster in Luxembourg. On this occasion, Mr Rony Brauman will honour us with his presence.
Seeing, hearing, understanding: an immersive exhibition providing an account of humanitarian work as seen from the inside
From 17 to 29 March 2026, Médecins Sans Frontières is holding "La Grande Expo", an immersive experience through which the general public can discover the reality of humanitarian aid work in crisis areas. Using genuine equipment from the field (medical tents, nursing stations, vaccination materials, etc.) and interaction with experienced MSF staff, young people are plunged into the kind of environment that surrounds a medical emergency.
The exhibition is organised in the form of thematic tents dealing with such topics as malnutrition, access to water, vaccination, refugees and access to medicines. Each area makes it clear what human, health and ethical issues arise during humanitarian aid work.

Vernissage of the exhibition on Wednesday, 18 March, with Rony Brauman:

A doctor with a degree in tropical medicine and epidemiology, Rony Brauman has been involved in humanitarian work since 1977 and has carried out numerous missions, primarily in the context of population displacements and armed conflicts. He was President of Médecins Sans Frontières France from 1982 to 1994 and has taught at the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) of the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) and at Sciences Po in Paris.
