To mark Geo Week 2026, let’s come together to promote solidarity from the Grand Duchy by helping to map the areas where humanitarian teams need it most.

Location University of Luxembourg, Belval Campus, Maison des Sciences Humaines, GIS lab, 1er étage

The principle is simple: using satellite images, you will add outlines of buildings, roads and waterways. This information, which is essential for MSF teams on the ground, helps to improve the planning and delivery of humanitarian operations.

No prior experience is required. A short introduction will guide you, and in just a few hours you will be able to make a tangible contribution to MSF’s missions.

Since 2014, the Missing Maps project has mobilised more than 188,000 volunteers, who have produced over 108 million mapping contributions. And now it’s your turn!
