HP*: From Pixels to People – Streaming event with Dr Javid Abdelmoneim, International President of MSF
Health Points* (HP) ❤️❤️❤️
In many video games, HP are used to measure a character’s health, and the aim is to keep them at their maximum level in order to survive, continue playing and progress successfully through the adventure. For the organisation Médecins Sans Frontières, ‘health points’ are anything but virtual: they represent real human lives and the health of populations in distress, and the overriding aim of our teams is to safeguard them in the face of natural disasters, conflicts and wars, epidemics and unequal access to healthcare.
During a special live-streamed event on 28 October, MSF Luxembourg and Letz Smash ASBL invite you to explore the parallels between the values of the video games world and those of the humanitarian sector in which MSF operates. Alternating between gaming sessions and discussions between Dr Javid Abdelmoneim, International President of MSF, and representatives from local organisations, the ‘HP*: From Pixels to People’ event will offer the chance to learn more about these two worlds, which may have more in common than one might think at first glance...
This event will be hosted by influencer Micas Carvalho and is open to the general public, including young people.
“I’ve always believed that visibility can serve a purpose beyond simply entertaining the crowd. Today, I want to be the voice of those who have none, and that’s why I’m proud to be working alongside Médecins Sans Frontières.” Micas Carvalho
Streamers, gamers or anyone who’s curious, join us live on 28 October 2026, from 8.00 P.M. to 10.15 P.M., for MSF’s first streaming event in Luxembourg.
