Call to Action (R)éveil humanitaire 2025-26

Call to Action (R)éveil humanitaire, the inter-school challenge

From Luxembourg, go beyond the borders of silence to make our patients' voices heard.

How can you raise awareness among secondary school pupils about complex crises
that they have never heard of?
How can we encourage them to think critically?
How can we give them the keys to action so that they can build a civic commitment that reflects their own personality?

CTA 2025-26 Anne

Through supervised group work spread out over the school year, the pupils themselves become actors in their own learning about a forgotten and/or neglected humanitarian crisis. At the same time as assimilating information about this crisis, they are invited to become active allies of humanitarian actors trying to respond to it.

At present, the voices of our patients and staff are still struggling to be heard by as many people as possible. By creating their own awareness-raising materials, secondary school students are making a tangible contribution to highlighting forgotten or neglected crises and to the success of our testimonial campaign.

Registration for the 2025-2026 edition of (R)éveil humanitaire is now closed. Documents relating to the challenge and the timetable are available below. We look forward to seeing you in June 2026 for the launch of the next edition!

We regularly share updates on this edition on our social media channels and in our newsletter.

2025–2026 edition: young people living with HIV

CTA Classroom Presentation by MSF Luxembourg

For this edition, 119 students from six Luxembourg schools across the Grand Duchy signed up to participate in the Call to Action (R)éveil Humanitaire launched by the Luxembourg section of Médecins Sans Frontières in June 2025.

From October to December, they all attended a presentation by MSF Luxembourg on this year's challenge: young people living with HIV. During this time, they also discussed what makes a ‘good’ awareness campaign and were given resources to help them devise and design a relevant campaign project.

The classes submitted their campaign projects to the jury at the end of 2025. The jury received 21 projects and shortlisted six of them at the beginning of January 2026:

  • Lycée Edward Steichen Clervaux : "VIH & Jeunes : S’informer pour se protéger" & "Testé·e, c’est assurer"
  • Lycée Michel Rodange Luxembourg : "Just use it"
  • EIMAB : "Jeunes informés, jeunes protégés"
  • Lycée Fieldgen : "Protect to Respect"
  • Lycée Classique de Diekirch : "Lutte contre le VIH: Ensemble pour la santé."

These groups can now begin creating their campaigns from scratch. Once finalised, they will be presented to the jury at the end of February 2026. The jury will then select three finalist projects to move on to the next stages, including rolling out the campaign to the target audiences identified by the students.
